American Eagle new destinations from LAX

More choices to more destinations are coming soon to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Effective April 5, 2011, American Airlines and American Eagle will offer 33 additional departures, including nine new domestic routes on American Eagle; additional American Airlines flights to Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Las Vegas, Miami and Orlando; and new LAX to Shanghai, China, service on American.

As part of our new service, four of the nine new American Eagle routes will give you the added luxury to choose First Class on our new two-class Bombardier CRJ-700 regional jets - a relaxing experience with four-way adjustable headrests and ergonomically contoured back and seat cushions.

In addition to the new destinations and service, we also announced a $20 million investment to enhance our American Eagle terminal at LAX. As part of the improvements, we will expand our terminal from six to 10 gates, making boarding and arrivals more convenient and comfortable.
