Shiatsu Society launches new Shiatsu schools Directory

(Foreign students from outside the European Union a student visa to study in the United Kingdom. Convenience is very much what the student sees as easily and it turns out that the location is not so important: a student traveled from Doncaster to Bristol for classes, another from Bristol to London, and some from Europe to England on a regular basis.

Although education is a traditional Oriental healing practice, bind most schools their curriculum to the Western academic year admissions to September or October. Most classes are conducted in the weekend with some weekday, afternoon or evening classes. There are some notable exceptions, continuous registration along with evening, weekend, and intensive courses during the day.

Cost is less a problem with students seemingly prepared to pay more for a school that fills their needs. Methods of payment vary, some schools accept credit cards, others not, some want the whole fee in advance, other term by term. Most will charge a fee for delivery payments, many accept this.

Most schools offer more or less the same syllabus. Few of the teachers have education Government recognised qualifications and less educated in Japan. Again, there are notable exceptions where the faculty have reached recognised diplomas and also trained in Japan.
